It's about time we experimented with this concept. It seems Blogspot requires one to establish a blog before being able to access others. Hence "Sea-R-Vu" has been born!
As we speak, I'm not sure what happened! I think I might have struck a wrong key-stroke and caused a premature publish of this post. Anyway, I'll proceed as if I know what I'm doing.
Speaking of our view, we looked out over Malaspina Strait today to see two brand new partially completed homes being towed down the coast in the direction of Vancouver. Due to a strong SE wind the tug tied-up alongside another towing a large log boom, providing a picture opportunity. Now, how to insert pictures is the question?
Hey, we did it! By way of explanation, there are two boats alongside of the log boom which is tied to an anchor pylon in the water. The pylon is there for the tugs to wait for winds and storms to pass through. The large tug towing the boom was there first and the smaller boat (not really a tug) came along towing the houses and rafted up to the tug.
The houses are only partially finished and appear to be only sheeted-in. The first has no windows installed while the second one has some. A guess is they may be headed for False Creek in Vancouver where there are a lot of permanent Float Homes.
We are getting ready to head out for Red Deer early Monday morning, April 3rd. We'll be there for Easter.
