The Boys Meet the Cousins

We had visitors arrive Thursday afternoon from Lethbridge, Alberta. They were here for Friday's storm and we spent the day "Storm Watching". We had only one sailing of the Queen of Burnaby from Little River (Comox) and back, while the Texada ferry made all her trips. It would have had to be a dire emergency to get us onboard! We had the telescope aimed out the front window and it was pretty awesome to see the power of our natural surroundings. Ferry service was back to normal yesterday and Lucien and Lorraine took the Noon ferry to Vancouver Island so they could spend Easter with their son and family.
While here, they enjoyed the company of Rascal and Otis who were very happy to share their presence. We all hope to see them back soon.

Lund, Nevada

Our route home first took us to Las Vegas and then north onto Nevada State Highway 318. A straight road that seemed to go on forever with not a lot of anything in-between. On the plus side there was very little traffic and no trucks! Mostly RV's traveling both north and south. There are some smaller villages along the way, one of which is "Lund"! Not quite the same scenery as our Lund, but suspect there was an ocean here at one time.
