Valentine Mountain

Kevin, Shannon, Justin and Jared were here for a vist from Wednesday afternoon, August 30th to Sunday morning September 3rd when they had to return home to get ready to get back to school and work Tuesday morning. We had a great time and one of the things we did was hike up to the top of Valentine Mountain. Grandma was able to do the climb aided by her hiking poles! There's a great view from this vantage point looking across to Harwood Island, Savary Island, up Malaspina Strait to the entrance to Desolation Sound and across to Vancouver Island. Of course, the brilliantly clear day was a bonus!
